What are your hours of operations? When can I contact customer support for assistance?
The ResidentSource™ Customer Support Department is staffed Monday through Friday from 8 am till 6 pm eastern time. Our customer support lines are monitored after hours. Should you experience an emergency, you may contact us and leave a voice mail message or send us an email at CustomerSupport@ResidentSource.com noting your name and callback number. We'll return your call as soon as possible.
Is there a minimum contract term for use of your products?
ResidentSource is sold on the basis of an annual contract billed monthly or quarterly by customer preference. If you are interested in a longer-term contract, please contact your sales representative or ResidentSource customer support account executive for pricing.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of apartment units that are needed to use ResidentSource?
ResidentSource offers several solutions for property management companies, each designed to meet differing needs and sizes of organization. How much time and effort is required to maintain ResidentSource?
One of the many benefits of a web-based property management solution is its ease of use and low maintenance requirement. In part that is because ResidentSource maintains and hosts the application and your data with 24/7 reliability, multi-site replication and backup. Hosting and maintenance are included in the cost of ResidentSource.
Once the application has been installed and set up to your specifications, little maintenance is required. ResidentSource will assign a customer support account executive to act as your project manager. That person will work with you to ensure your site(s) work as desired and your staff are trained and comfortable with their use. ResidentSource was designed to be intuitive and easy to use.
How do we create a website with ResidentSource?
ResidentSource makes use of a sophisticated tool, Site Builder, to help you create a corporate or community web site(s) and their related services. Dozens of templates and color choices are available. With Site Builder you can create a site in less than an hour, however, many of our customers prefer to work with our designers to create a totally custom look and leave the entire construction process to us.
Our customer support account executive will meet with you and complete an assessment and design specification. Then we'll build the sites, migrate your data, and perform any desired integration with your existing software. ResidentSource is committed to making this process as seamless, timely and easy as possible so that you are up and running quickly with minimum demand placed on your staff or business.

How do I use my community sites to advertise vacancies?
ResidentSource includes a wealth of information about your properties and the residences you have available. These range from listings of features and amenities, e-brochures, a photo gallery, optional virtual and video tours, to interactive floor plans with our exclusive furniture arranger, and automated real-time availability.
We also offer advanced solutions to build site traffic including search engine optimization, data distribution to free and paid Internet listing services, and keyword purchasing. How long will the listings run?
Your property sites are entirely under your control. You can maintain availabilities for as long as you wish.
What services does ResidentSource make available to residents?
ResidentSource includes a full-featured resident portal where your residents can interact with your property management and maintenance staff and take advantage of a number of services designed to enhance their residential experience. These include utility and service connection, online rent payment, a community events calendar and bulletin board, resident email, a newsletter, and special features including access to online shopping, special offers and other custom features.
What is electronic rent payment?
Many residents prefer to pay their rent online, whether by check or credit card. The benefits to you as a property manager are many. Fund availability is immediate, payment reminders can be automatically generated and sent to your residents, and funds can be posted to your bank account(s) or to a lockbox service you specify. What is a utility connection service?
ResidentSource offers an online utility connection service in its resident corner. Residents can apply online for new services including phone, power/water, and cable or satellite dish, among others, or move their existing accounts to their new address.
The ResidentSource utility connection service can be set up to feature only those services/vendors with which you have agreements ensuring your residents have up-to-date and accurate information about their options, and you continue to benefit from the relationships you have with your service providers.
